Have you ever been stopped by a stranger on the street to take your photo?
It was probably Khalid.
Since he was 16-years-old, Khalid Ibrahim has been obsessed with telling people’s stories—family, friends, and strangers—through the lens of his (many) cameras, whether it’s an iPhone or a Hasselblad. Formally trained in epidemiology, he takes both an analytical and a creative approach to photography, and vice versa. His life has been guided by observation and pattern finding, from clinical studies in Africa to photo shoots at his studio in Lansing. This has led him to building a client list that includes Amazon, Urban Outfitters, Quicken Loans, Michigan State University, and eBay.
